Glenwild has over 12 miles of backcountry trails north of Kimball’s Junction that exist around the Blackhawk and Glenwild neighborhoods.  Many new trails have been added to this system, connecting users to and from the Jeremy Ranch area, as well as providing an additional 3+ miles of trail on the backside of Glenwild.  Parking is available at the Spring Creek Trailhead where maps and information are provided at the kiosk.

Type:  Loops;  Out and Back

Rating:  Intermediate

Notes:  The popular Glenwild Loop can be accessed off of the Blackhawk Trail or the Stealth Trail.  The Stealth Trail is a milder climb to the loop and seems to be the popular choice.

Please keep your dogs leashed at the trailhead, as well as along the trails.  This is a very sensitive area for nesting wildlife.   Due to the heavy use, it’s also important to clean up after your pets.  Grab a mutt-mitt and use it. Bags can be disposed of at the trailhead.  PLEASE HELP US PROTECT AND PRESERVE THIS SENSITIVE AREA.
