Nestled in the pine forests of Summit Park this trail system of over 4 miles was completed in the fall of 2008. The new trails cross the narrower, older neighborhood trails, which can be great for hiking. For steady climbs and flowing descents check out The Road to WOS Trail. Can you guess with the WOS stands for? Summit Park is an ideal place to escape the summer heat while biking or hiking. It is also fantastic in the winter months for snowshoeing. Check out the map below for directions and route planning.
Notes: Trailhead is open from Dawn to Dusk per Summit County Ordinance 309. Motorized use on the trails is strictly prohibited. Respect residents and other trail users. Please leash your pets and scoop the poop.
