McLeod Creek Trail...

Rating: Beginner

The Mcleod Creek Trail connects the incorporated area of Park City to the Basin Recreation trail system.

Users are treated to a scenic trail through wetlands, around the farm, over the bridges and along the creek. This is a nice flat and wide trail, allowing for joggers, burley trails and younger riders. If users choose to bike north towards Kimball Junction, Willow Creek makes for nice stop where restrooms, water and great park amenities are available. An additional 21/2 miles of soft and hard surface trails are found around the park if one is so inclined. If a stop is not in order, continue on along the East 224 Trail towards Kimball Junction. Once again, users have a great opportunity to view wildlife, this time as they traverse the Swaner Nature Preserve. Continue to the junction and Basin Fieldhouse where restaurants and shops can be found to help replenish the energy stores.

Notes: Please park at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse, Willow Creek Park or City Trailhead located off of Highway 224, across from the White Barn.

Dogs should be cleaned up after, leashed and IN CONTROL at all times. The Coppermoose Farm along Mcleod Creek has small free ranging livestock, so please be respectful and responsible for your pets!
