Trails Report for the week of June 14th
Trails Report for the week of June 14th
Due to the recent rains, trail conditions will be muddy for the next few days. Please use good judgment and do not ride in muddy conditions.
Prior to the rains, most lower elevation trails were drying out! The following trails should be ready to ride once the sun comes out and the tread has had a chance to recover:
1. All urban trails and pathways
2. Glenwild Trails, including Cobblestone Loop
3. Flying Dog and Preserve Connector
4. 24-7
5. Bob's Basin
6. Gorgoza Trail
7. Colin's Trail, along with Upper Rob's Trail
8. Lower Canyons Trails
9. Round Valley Trails
It's obvious where snow is still lying in the upper elevations, trails remain muddy and closed. Please use common sense when using trails to help preserve our summer tread. I know summer will eventually come!
Greenleaf will be spraying weeds along the trails in Willow Creek Park. Signs will be posted, so please respect and obey all signs.
Basin Recreation got a lot of great work done out of the Old Ranch Trailhead on the Round Valley Trails. Thanks to all of the Basin Staff, Sunrise Rotary and dedicated trail volunteers. Thanks for giving back to the trails!!
We do our best to update this report as best we can and as conditions permit. Any questions or input, please call 649-1564 x13.
